In fact, under the Law 14/2013 of September 27, 2013, any non-European Union citizen, acquiring real estate worth at least five hundred thousand euros, or shares in a Spanish company worth at least 1 million euros, may be granted a five years (1+3+2) investor residency visa (Golden Visa) giving him and his family the following rights:
A long-stay residence permit allowing the investor and his family to settle and live in Spain.
A long-stay residence permit allowing to travel around the Schengen territory for 90 days every 180 days (3 months every 6 months).
The possibility of working in Spain for each member of the family.

Possibility of working and residing in another Schengen country after five years.
After the initial five-year period, the permit is extended for another 5-year provided that the investment in Spain is maintained.
